SlingShot

This innovative amusement device is by far one the most exciting vertical amusement rides available today. Passengers are propelled over 100 metres at speeds in the region of 160 kilometers per hour.

This machine does not utilize rubber ropes or bungee cords but is powered by a patented spring propulsion device incorporating up to 720 specially designed springs.

The Slingshot can be custom designed to cause minimal disruption to existing venues. This includes tower designs that consume a few square metres of land and use elevated gondola loading platforms where space is at a premium.

For the ultimate thrill ride Funtime have Slingshot designs able to propel the passenger capsule more than 150 metres high. Other designs are available that have a passenger capacity of around 240 passengers per hour.

StarFlyer

The StarFlyer is the newest sensation in the world of Tower rides. It is a unique attraction that appeals to both young and old, the adventurous and not so adventurous. While most tower attractions seem to fizzle out after time the StarFlyer keeps the excitement going.

No other family attraction combines safety and thrills like the StarFlyer.

To ride, guests are seated in a double seat next to their friend or partner, the seat is deep walled and fitted with double seat belts that include an 'in between the leg harness' that can only be unlocked by the operator.

The motion of the StarFlyer is similar to the ChairFlyer type of ride that has been around for decades, except with one difference - Altitude.

The StarFlyer spins like a normal Chainflyer but also races up to a height of 70 metres as it is spinning! Then the customers are treated to a series of ups and downs as they spin backwards and forwards. A truly exhilarating experience.

Vomatron

The Vomatron can best be described as a giant propeller with seats on each end! Similar to the centrifuge used by astronauts to simulate rocket acceleration except it is mounted vertically. It is powered by 2 huge electric motors that rotate the giant 40 meter arm at speeds of more than 120 kilometers per hour, throwing the capsules into extreme spins putting 4gs of force upon its unwary passages. Then just as they think it is all over... We spin it in reverse with the same degree of pure torture as before.

The passengers are restrained by an overhead lap bar which can be fixed in different positions to match various body sizes, the seats and the overhead lap bar are covered in a layer of soft foamed polyurethane which ensures maximum passenger comfort while they undergo the stresses of this ride. The overhead lap bar is restrained with a double locking rack mechanism which is hydraulically actuated. This locking mechanism can only be opened with an operator activated release key, therefore guaranteeing maximum rider safety.

SkyDiver

The SkyDiver is a free-fall attraction like no other. An extreme amusement ride combining high-octane thrills with uncompromising safety standards.

To ride guests are suited up in our comfortable harness and are attached to a cable hanging from the main tower. After hooking-up they are connected to a tow cable which pulls them to the top of the back tower.

Riders are winched to a height of 60 meters and see the park unfold before their eyes. To start the free fall, riders can either pull a release handle or for a faster throughput the operator can release the riders via a magnetic release. They then drop in an exhilarating arc, all the while supported by a multitude of cables attached to the main tower. The difference in the SkyDiver experience is that while swinging, a winch at the top of the main tower draws in the swinging cables, so the last swing is as exciting as the first and the ride never feels like the attraction is slowing.

At the end of the ride the main cable is rapidly lowered which makes stopping riders a quick process and increases throughput as well as adding to the exhilaration of the ride. After coming to a smooth stop guests are disconnected from the cables, switch places with oncoming riders and watch a video of their flight.

Chaos Pendle

The motion of this amusement device is as fast as it is chaotic, delivering a truly wild thrill ride.

The unique excenter mechanism used by the Chaos Pendle makes the ever changing motion path more like that of a roller coaster than a "propeller" ride. The Pendle's vertical ellipse flight pattern makes the most of its variable frequency electrical drive system to deliver noticeable acceleration over that of its peers.

Depicted on this website is a trailer mounted unit developed specially for festival and carnival operators, an earlier fixed model with two arms and two gondolas is operating at the Prater park in Vienna.

The Bell

The bell goes up to 120° and the passengers reach a height of 28 meters. The gondola on the end of the clapper can be turned.
